Lecture by Shaykh Riyadhul Haq on CD format.
In a verse of the Quran Allah says ‘indeed the hills of Safa and Marwa are from the symbols of Allah’. In another verse of the Quran, Allah says ‘and he who reveres the symbols of Allah, then this (reverence) stems from the taqwa of the heart’. Two lifeless hills are given status in the religion of Allah on the basis that they are connected to Allah and His religion. Hence we are required to accept and follow without question. This is the spirit of Islam; submission, obedience and respect. In this way there are many more deserving of respect but which we fail to recognise due to the atmosphere we live in today. Unfortunately Muslims are being deeply affected by this notion of disrespect and are suffering as a result. What will be the state of our children when they are being taught anarchy right from the beginning?
